Some friendly Twitter sparring between Burger King and Wendy’s took an unexpected turn that left one of the fast-food chains with some serious grill marks.
The banter started last week when Wendy’s touted its “4 for $4” deal, which includes a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, four chicken nuggets and a drink.
The tweet got the attention of Burger King, which offers a similar deal. The restaurant's “5 for $4” includes a bacon cheeseburger, fries, four chicken nuggets, a drink and a cookie.

That's when Wendy’s took things up a notch with this tweet to a customer who was demanding a response. The tweet left Burger King feeling flame-broiled:
