LOS ANGELES — Talk about divorcing for a cause!
Actress Amber Heard is donating her entire $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp to her two favorite charities: the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union.
It looks like Heard donated the big payout just to show she was not trying to milk her Ex for some extra moola even though Depp's fans seemed to think she made up false accusations "for financial gain."
The ACLU sais it will use its donation to help stop violence against women, which is what Heard claims she's passionate about.
Heard withdrew a request for a restraining order against Depp.
She claimed her former-hubby had been verbally and physically abusive over their entire four-year relationship.
The marriage only lasted for 15 months, so maybe her wedding vows should have been, "for better, for worse — or for charity?!"
