Mr. Greens Produce, a Miami-Based produce distributor, announced it will host a Farm Fresh Produce Giveaway on Saturday, April 25, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m..
The giveaway will take place at the Mana Convention Center in Wynwood. The produce giveaway is in partnership with City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. Mr. Greens is planning to distribute 10,000 boxes of fresh produce to the community with special priority for restaurant workers.
Nick Politis, president of Mr. Greens, said that as a company that works with restaurants all over South Florida, supporting those who work in hospitality throughout this community is top priority.
“We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people in our Miami community to struggle with buying food because they are out of work and it is our goal to help those people continue to have access to fresh produce,” said Politis.
The Mana Convention Center is located at 2217 N.W. 5th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127. Every person will receive two boxes of farm fresh produce, one filled with fruit and one with vegetables.
