If you don’t feel safe going into a grocery store, a South Florida restaurant is transforming into a community pop-up market. Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar launched a “Quarantine & Grill” wholesale menu for pick-up, offering raw proteins to cook at home.

"Take them from us right to your fridge. We're doing our Prime Allen Brothers 8-ounce skirt steak, we have filet mignon, Bell & Evans chicken breast, which is some of the best poultry in the country, in addition to our signature burger pattys, ribs, sliders, and so on," said Andrew Balick, Executive Chef/Partner of Tap42.

Need ideas on how to make your favorite Tap 42 dishes? Executive Chef Andrew Balick took to Instagram and Facebook to show customers recipes.

While Chef Balick is helping you make a good meal at home, they’re also thinking about front line workers. Tap 42 launched a First Responders program, where people or local businesses can buy $10 meals for front line responders in their communities by emailing firstresponders@tap42.com They’re also offering specials daily.

"It's amazing what they are doing, how much time, effort, and personal sacrifice they're putting in to make sure the rest of us can stay safe. We thought it would be great to offer discounts to all first responders and healthcare workers for as long as this goes on. Thank you to all you guys out there," said Balick.

When it comes to their employees, unfortunately, the company had to furlough more than half of their staff in hopes of rehiring every person after this difficult time.

"We've had to make some really tough decisions, quite frankly, the toughest decisions we've ever had to make as operators. I think a lot of businesses are going through the same thing. But for us, our goal is to come out the other side of this better educated, with a better idea on how to move forward in a safer world, and rehire every single person that worked with us as soon as we possibly can," added Balick.

Balick says the company is exploring all the federal and state assistance programs to help them stay afloat, which in turn would create job security for their employees. For now, they encourage them to take advantage of unemployment benefits while they work on longer term solutions.

Tap 42 also offers delivery options through third party services. There are five locations in South Florida, to find one near you visit tap42.com
