Three Louisiana girls are crediting Taylor Swift and her concert producers after they were rescued following a car accident on Friday.
Elizabeth Dazzio was driving her sister, Caroline, and another friend home after the Taylor Swift concert in Baton Rouge when she fell asleep at the wheel, according to WBRZ.
"You could smell the gas and smoke," Caroline said. "I was just thinking we need to get out of this car."
Two of the three phones in the car were dead and a third phone was missing. The girls decided to use bracelets they were given at the Taylor Swift concert that had been programmed to light up and sync to the music emergency flares to get the attention of drivers.
Finally, someone noticed the teens. A woman told the girls she saw the lights and knew someone was in trouble, according to WBRZ.
Dazzio is expected to be released from the hospital soon.
Taylor Swift tweeted her condolences to the teens:
This is unreal. I'm so happy they're okay. http://t.co/UnylIwhZv5
