About Us

WSFL-TV, channel 39, is owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Company and serves as Miami-Fort Lauderdale’s CW affiliate. The station's signal reaches South Florida television households representing more than 4 million people in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties.

Previously known as SFLCW and the CW South Florida, the station rebranded in May of 2020 to focus on serving the local audience as the only TV station to literally have South Florida built into its call letters. The new website is www.wsfltv.com.

The new WSFL-TV logo features the channel number 39 cut out of a bright yellow and orange sun, with the station call letters in a bold black below. The image represents a visual that locals and visitors instantly recognize as part of the South Florida landscape.

Since 1982, Channel 39 has been serving South Florida an array of entertainment from Daytime “Talk,” network comedies, and six-nights of CW network prime. The station was acquired from Tribune by the E.W. Scripps company in September of 2019.
