MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Like the flying car, the male birth control pill is something that always seemed like a good idea, but just out of reach.
The University of Minnesota announced they`re working on an experimental compound, that taken by mouth, would stop sperm, but have no effect on a man`s mojo.
The compound would block a certain alpha-receptor, related to fertility. Studies have shown animals with a deficiency of such a receptor are healthy in all ways - except sperm production.
It`s gonna be another six months before the compound is ready for trials. Until then, men, your choices are limited to condoms and abstinence. Difficult decision.
