Animated animals around the globe

LOS ANGELES, CA - Disclaimer: no animals were harmed in the making of this story. Just a little mayhem!

Ever heard of the Venice Beach Freakshow? The Los Angeles-based attraction will soon have a new resident.  A two-legged bearded dragon from Beijing. The rare reptile with its six legs loves snacking on insects. (And you thought you had too many mouths to feed!) Some say two heads are better than one. But, here`s a question: when he`s hungry, does he eat twice as much....or twice as fast?

Speaking of hungry, a Japanese zoo is home to some real-life Hungry Hungry Hippos who have totally lost their marbles!  They prefer watermelons. Whole!

Their massive jaws turn the melons into mush immediately!

One flipper in Mexico is more of a flopper. Tourists enjoyed watching a pod of dolphins jump between boats when one enthusiastically jumped in a boat. Maybe the aquatic acrobat is just a little far-sighted?

Off to Thailand, now, to a safari park and a close encounter with a band of friendly giraffes. Not sure who was more surprised. The humans or the giraffes. Let`s just call it a neck-tie!

Finally, on a dark and winding gravel road in Australia, suddenly a kangaroo appears.  Motorist meet marsupial, right on the windshield! One short hop for kanga, who didn`t hanga-round for very long!
