Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez is hoping a little of Casey Anthony’s luck will rub off on him.
You remember Casey, right? She was the hot, teen mom who partied, and even entered a "hot body" contest when her 2-year-old daughter was missing — and was found not guilty of her murder, back in 2008.
Hernandez is sitting in a super max prison in Massachusetts, serving life without parole for the murder of semi-pro football player, Odin Lloyd.
He's about to go on trial again, charged with shooting two men to death outside a Boston night club-- just because one of the guys caused Hernandez to spill his drink!
Now, the former New England Patriots player is teaming up with Florida attorney, Jose Baez, who was successful in defending Casey “tot mom” Anthony in her high-profile trial.
Hernandez's newly formed dream team also includes Ronald Sullivan, a Harvard Law School professor.
In a statement, Baez said, "Hernandez strongly maintains his innocence, and I plan to establish that before a jury of his peers."
