DENVER, CO - Your boss just might hate your cell phone, some bosses are just more subtle about it than others.

Sure, your mobile device means your employers have you on a leash 24/7, but according to CareerBuilder.com’s latest survey, it`s also the leading cause of your lack of productivity at work.

Some 55% of respondents said cell phones were the biggest productivity killers at their workplace.

Also, three out of four employers from the study said two or more hours of productivity are lost every day because of distracted employees.

Aside from cell phones, other big distractions include smoke breaks, and gossip.

It`s not just the work you do that suffers, according to the survey, your coworkers resent you for having to pick up the slack.

So whether it`s tweeting, puffing, or gabbing... Quit the slacking, and get back to work folks! Unless, of course, it`s to check the NewsFix app throughout the day... That we can forgive.
