PHILADELPHIA, PA - Calling all "chocaholics!" Now you can have your chocolate and keep some pounds off, too.

"Mad" scientists at Temple University say they're giving electro-shock treatment to chocolate, and well...they claim it makes the chocolate healthier.

The scientists found that jolting chocolate in its liquid form with electricity actually allows it to flow smoothly while removing fat from it.

It's a technology that was actually developed for crude oil, but then candy makers came along and asked researchers to give it a whirl and-- voila! The scientists say they took 20 percent of the fat out of the chocolate, but they say it still tastes the same.

In fact, some taste testers actually claim that giving your chocolate a little high voltage actually makes it taste even better.

Who knew a little electric current could be so healthy!

So, if zapping chocolate makes it healthier, what's next....pizza?

We can only hope!
