TORONTO, Canada - Ever wish you could stay slim without going on a major diet?

Well, scientists say you can...just have more sex!

That's right. Researchers from York University have found a direct relationship between overeating and a hormone the body releases after sex.

Of course, a good romp burns about 100 calories an hour, anyway. But now there's  science that says you actually get even more 'bang for your buck' by having lots of sex because of the chemical hormone 'Oxytocin' it releases.

Yeah, Oxytocin is known as 'the cuddle hormone' because it creates feelings of trust and affection.

And now researchers say it makes your tummy feel fuller, too!

The study found that people with genes that produce less Oxytocin tend to eat a lot of sweets and junk food.

In other words, Oxytocin naturally curbs your appetite.

So, how do you get more of that treasured hormone? Have more sex, of course.

As if you needed one more reason to do the deed...well, now science has given you plenty.

So, next time you get that craving for a cheeseburger, you might want to take a dive under the sheets, instead.

Your genes-- and your waist line-- will thank you!
