CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Some sort of explosion happened at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Thursday morning, according to Brian Purtell, the public information officer for the 45th Space Wings.
Base response teams are still working to confirm if there are any injuries, Purtell said. He could not confirm if the incident involved SpaceX, which was preparing for a launch at the facility.
