If you feel like you’ve abandoned your dreams, or just lost sight of them, there’s a new app called dreamOway. And it’s here to remind you, that you should always dare to dream.
"DreamOway is an authentic community designed to inspire, nurture, and support dreamers achieve their dreams, I believe that dreams can become a reality when like-minded people come together and share their inspirations, hopes, and dreams," said Justine Sinclair, Founder of dreamOway.
DreamOway is a free app you can download on your iPhone or Android. From there, you shoot a video about your dream, upload it, and the dreamOway community watches it, and encourages you to see your dream through. Some dreams may require financial assistance. In those cases, members of the community can donate to your dream, and you, likewise, can donate to theirs. And if you spend time on the app now, you’ll certainly be inspired.
"There is a 19 year-old boy who got a brain injury while playing sports, he faces painful treatments everyday, but he doesn't give up, he wants to go back to playing sports again. And there is a girl in a wheelchair who lost the use of her legs in a car accident, she discovered different beauty and is inspiring people. She is Ms. Teen Wheelchair in Virginia, and now she is going to Nationals this July," said Sinclair.
Even dreamOway's origin is inspiring, Justine started the app as a way to get closer to her daughter.
"My daughter always wanted to be a writer, one day, she changed her mind. She wants to be a Youtuber. She thinks its more realistic and socially acceptable. What happened to people's dreams that they wanted to become a doctor, firefighter, or teacher. Is there no such thing as a dream anymore? I want to create a positive change for the future, and dedicate a space for dreamers to share their dreams and get the support they need," said Sinclair.
So if you're ready to download dreamOway, Justine says it's time to share your dream with the community.
"Your dream is you, it's who you are and what you want to do, it's what makes you happy. Make sure your dream is for yourself, not your parents, not your kids, not your friends, and challenge yourself to dream. Don't wait to long and don't give up, start dreaming today," said Sinclair.
