Located in the heart of Downtown Miami sits a celebrity favorite, Novikov.
The Japanese-Chinese eatery comes to Miami following successful locations in London, Dubai and Moscow.
While we were there, there wasn’t a celebrity in sight but a beautiful and upscale restaurant.
When you walk in, the first thing you see is a display of fresh seafood, and for carnivores, peking duck. The kitchen is wide open to see all the action.
Along with the wok dishes, the menu has an extensive sushi and dim-sum selection.
"All the dim-sum that we do here is made everyday, from the dough to the filling," said Executive Sous Chef Oliver Lustado.
Melissa Marrero stepped in the kitchen with Chef Lustado, to make one of their Miami Spice dishes, the Singapore Noodles.
Desserts of deconstructed key lime pie and plum cake ended our meal on a sweet note.
The restaurant is located at 300 South Biscayne Boulevard. For more information head to novikovmiami.com
