Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts: How to Help the Bahamas

These four Miami-Dade County government locations will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accept donations:

  • Miami-Dade County Main Library, 101 W. Flagler St., Miami.
  • Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW First St., Miami.
  • Joseph Caleb Center. 5400 NW 22 Ave., Miami.
  • Office of Emergency Management Warehouse, 8008 NW 14 St., Doral.

Other drop off locations:

  • Marlins Park: 9/6/19-9/12/19 during the Miami Marlins homestead. Drop-off locations will be on the East & West Plaza two hours prior to first pitch.
  • Hard Rock Stadium for three games: Brazil vs Colombia 4pm-8pm on 9/6/19, Dolphins vs. Ravens 9am-1pm 9/8/19 and Dolphins vs Patriots 9am-1pm 9/15/19
  • Archer- Christ Episcopal Church, 3481 Hibiscus Street, Coconut Grove, FL
  • Global Empowerment Movement 340 NE 59th Terrace, Miami, FL

Broward donation locations:

  • The Margate Police Department and the Margate-Coconut Creek Fire Rescue Department: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at these locations: Fire Station 18: 5785 Park Drive, Margate; Fire Station 58: 600 N. Rock Island Road, Margate; Fire Station 98: 5395 NW 24th Street, Margate; Fire Station 94: 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, Coconut Creek; and Fire Station 50: 4500 Coconut Creek Parkway, Coconut Creek.   • The city of Pembroke Pines is offering multiple drop-off locations: City Center, 601 City Center Way (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday); the Carl Schecter Southwest Focal Point Senior Center (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday); and six Pembroke Pines fire stations.   • The city of Miramar is collecting supplies at three municipal drop-off locations: Miramar City Hall (2300 Civic Center Place, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday); Miramar Multi-Purpose Complex (6700 Miramar Parkway, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday); and Sunset Lakes Community Center (2801 SW 186th Ave., 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday).
