A young girl battling brain cancer just had all her dreams come true. Five-year-old Kinsley Wilkerson met her favorite princess character in Boca Raton last week.
She was greeted by Moana, her pig, rooster and the Chic-Fil-A cows dressed up in coconut bras and hula skirts during a pool party, just days after her fifth birthday and her siblings couldn’t be happier.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 12,000 life-changing wishes since 1983 for children who have critical illnesses. It aims to grant a wish for every medically-eligible child in its territory.
Wish kids most often wish to be something, wish to meet someone, wish to go somewhere, wish to have something or wish to give to a cause. And, the nonprofit organization makes this happen for the child and and their entire family at no cost or obligation.
