Miami has a new food and entertainment venue. Located at 2660 NW 3rd avenue in Wynwood, Punch Bowl Social is a place where you can eat, drink and play.
Founded by Robert Thompson, the venue occupies 23,000 square feet across one building level. Room for dozens of games, including duck pin bowling lanes, two dart lounges, a private karaoke room, foosball, shuffle board, ping pong and more.
"We have some 1980's arcade games, there's also some things like buccaneer and skee-ball, which is very popular," said Thompson.
Thompson says Punch Bowl Social is known as an “Eatertainment” destination, because after you play all the games, you eat!
"What we want to do is we want to create an environment that we want to come play in and come have fun in, so we don't take it too seriously. We focus on Americana through the lens of diner culture. And we also want people to come in and have some of the things they're going to expect," said Sheamus Feeley, Culinary & Beverage Officer at Punch Bowl Social.
From burgers to cheesy nachos, there’s something for everyone.
"I feel like it's not your typical entertainment food menu, it's definitely more than that," said our Melissa Marrero.
"It's way more than that and for us that's a big differentiator, something we're very proud of," added Feeley.
And of course, we can’t forget about dessert. Marrero samples their beignets.
"We fry them, then they're tossed in cinnamon and powdered sugar," said Feeley.
"You don't have to go to New Orleans for this, you can just come right here," added Marrero.
This location marks the 1st in Florida and 20th in the U.S, with more opening soon.
