Broadway's Biggest Musical, A Mystery Crime Film & A Comedy All Available To Stream This Week

Just in time for Fourth of July Broadway’s hit musical "Hamilton" is hitting Disney Plus on July 3rd. The show’s music and lyrics by Lin Manuel Miranda tells the story of American founding father, Alexander Hamilton.

Originally, Hamilton the Movie was set to hit Disney Plus on October 15th 2021. But as the pandemic hit and all the live performances were canceled, Disney decided to move up the release date.

The show’s music draws heavily from Hip Hop as well as R&B, Pop and Soul. The movie was filmed in New York at the Richard Rodgers Theater in June 2016 and it features the original Broadway cast.

The comedy tells the story of Democrat strategist "Gary Zimmer" played by Steve Carell helping a retired veteran play by Chris Cooper, run for mayor of a Conservative Midwest town. But plans get ruined when Zimmer’s nemesis "Faith Brewster" played by Bryne gets in the way.
The film is written and directed by former "Daily Show" host, Jon Stewart.

Joining Craig in the film is Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas and so many more.
"Knives Out" is directed by Rian Johnson and you expect a sequel to the movie in the near future.
