Welcome to Pastificio Propaganda.
The newest Italian eatery makes its way to Wynwood. Known as Propaganda, the restaurant offers the best of authentic Sicilian cuisine. Which features fresh ingredients for timeless Italian recipes.
"We are using as many local ingredients. So it's not possible to recreate a total Sicilian experience because of the ingredients. We want to work with the local producers and farmers. This is my favorite way in how we treat ingredients. Our cuisine is simple, not formal but very good,” Fabrizio Gallina, Owner, Pastificio Propaganda.
Propaganda’s signature dishes include the carbonara which we made in the kitchen. And it includes rigatoni, guanciale, pecorino cheese, pepper, and egg. And the Palermitana.
"My favorite is the Palermitana. It is fettuccine or linguine that we make with olives, capers, tomatoes, which luckily we have an importer from Italy who imports tomatoes, and it also includes Swordfish. This is very tasty, very nice, very Mediterranean, but also very Sicilian,” says Gallina
There’s also a 900-degree wood oven where pizzas are made.
And of course, a good glass of wine should be accompanied by these scrumptious dishes. And at propaganda there’s plenty.
