One of the most anticipated culinary events of the year makes its return to Miami starting Sept. 22nd until Sept. 27th. For over 10 years, Cochon555 usually tours across the country for this great event.
Due to COVID-19, the event will now host “Carryout out with Cochon” a virtual and interactive feast featuring Miami's top chefs.
"The Carryout with Cochon is intentional for people who are not comfortable in going back to restaurants. So this is a great opportunity where you can carry these amazing dishes, curated by these incredibly five talented chefs in Miami. Or it can be delivered. The chefs are curating these five dishes and it's been paired with tremendous wine, beer, with great cocktails from tremendous Miami mixologists. And it's all to be consistent with the messaging of Cochon, which is all to celebrate heritage breed pork. But it's not heritage breed pork with all the dishes. It's just one or two dishes, the rest of the dishes are all items curated by the chefs from their restaurants," said Brett Friedman, CEO Agency 21 Consulting.
South Florida celebrity chefs, Janine Booth and Jeff McInnis will be participating at this year’s event. Their dinner will have courses from their four restaurants.
"So we're doing four courses from each of our restaurants. We're also going to pair each dish with a beverage. You get a non-alcoholic, cocktail, beer and wine. So you're going to get a full dinner," stated Chef Jeff McInnis, Stiltsville.
