Fast-casual taco joint, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has arrived in Fort Lauderdale.
Mirroring its flagship south beach location, Bodega Fort Lauderdale is bringing authentic Mexican cuisine with a South Florida flare.
“The best thing about coming to Bodega is that it’s totally unexpected. We have this very unassuming air stream food truck that looks like you don’t know what it is. And then you discover the hidden speakeasy in the back. It’s been a success in South Beach for six years now and it’s been a success here in Fort Lauderdale for the time that we’ve been here as well,” says Chef Bernie Matz, Culinary Director of Bodega Taqueria y Tequila.
Bodega has an extensive food menu. You can find everything from tacos, quesadillas nachos, and more. When creating the menu, Chef Matz was inspired by the simplicity of Mexican street food.
“I don’t like to go to Mexico for fine dining, although, I know that it does exist. Unpretentious street food served with authenticity but over the top. So really, what I like to create is a food experience that is multiple layers of heat and multiple layers of crunch,” states Matz.
And you can find those multiple layers of heat and crunch in Bodega’s new brunch menu. Which you can only enjoy at Bodega Fort Lauderdale.
“Bodega brunch is meant to be fun. It’s a continuing party from the night before if you will. So, if you’re going to come in and day drink and have fun with us. The entire menu will be available along with our brunch menu, which is always ever-evolving,” states the culinary director.
