Known for its assorted menu of burgers and kebabs, South Florida foodie staple Pinch, formerly known as Pincho factory, finally cracked the code on how to send love to family and friends during this era of social distancing. And it involves fried cheese.
"So we realized all the birthday parades happening and it's a shame that there are all these people that are trying to celebrate something. And they simply can't. And there's all these people that you kinda want to hug. You know? Like your friend that got a promotion, your friend that needs you or your mom or dad. So we said, wouldn't it be amazing if we can send people virtual hugs? And then we said, oh okay that's actually a really cool idea. So then we thought, okay, how can we make that hug even cooler? Well we said, what's better than fried cheese? So we decided to launch the 'I want to hug you" campaign," said Otto Othman, Owner of Pincho.
And if you want to send some cheesy love, here’s how you can do it:
"It's super easy, go to iwanttohugyou.com, fill out your information, your friend's or family information and the message. And we receive that and then we send out the free fried cheese once every week," says Othman.
The campaign was supposed to end July 31st but the feedback has been so well received, that now you can send your fried cheese hug until august 15th.
