Nestled in the heart of Calle Ocho, Sala’o Cuban restaurant and bar is a contemporary, Cuban-American eatery known for its soulful menu as it was for its bustling bar scene. The menu takes a unique spin on Cuban cuisine.
"Sala'o is a classic Cuban restaurant. But, with a little twist. It's basically Cuban food, with a twist," says Alejandro Porben, Executive Chef, Sala'o Cuban Restaurant & Bar.
Sala'o celebrates it’s one year anniversary and in celebration of that, chef Alejandro conjured up a new delicious menu that brings the vibrant flavors of Cuba straight to Miami

Another fun addition to the restaurant is the table-side gin and tonic service, which offers different variations on the classic drink such as the "Playa del Este" which contains indigo gin, cucumber tonic, blackberry, dried lime, and fresh mint.
Chef Alejandro also mentions that the restaurant is hiring, if you want more information on that you can head on over here
