You've seen cats and dogs at the Humane Society of Broward County, but did you know they have other animals too? Meet Freckles the bunny, who's up for adoption!
Freckles is an adult female who seems to have been someone's pet a some point. She likes to be picked up, and needs a healthy diet of mixed greens. Not too many carrots for this rabbit, since they're high in sugar.
Just like the cats and dogs, rabbits come spayed or neutered, with all their necessary shots, and with a nail trim. You can also adopt two rabbits and only pay one adoption fee, since they do well in pairs. The Humane Society is offering a Bunny Basics class to teach possible adopters about how to take care of their new fluffy friend.

The humane society is open every day at 11 a.m., but due to social distancing guidelines there may be a line to get in on the weekends.
