Finding the perfect Father’s Day gift can be tricky business, but if your dad is a “hands on” guy, Lowe’s has some great options. Taylor Calmus, aka “Dude Dad”, shared some ideas on Inside South Florida.
“Guys are doers. We want to go camping. We want to go hiking, we want to go fishing,” said Calmus. “Lowe's recently did a survey t that found that 70% of dads want to spend more time with their kids in a home improvement store. I think this speaks to the fact that dads like to make things.”
With that in mind, Calmus has three great ideas for you, each available at Lowe’s and on Lowe’s website.
“The first one is the Blackstone flat griddle grill. You've never used a flat grill before these things are super awesome,” Taylor said. “You can get a ton of meat on there. What I like about it is more than just burgers and brats, you can make breakfast on this thing. You can flip pancakes in the morning; bacon eggs the whole works.”
For dads who like to build, the Cobalt Tour 99 Piece Mechanic Kit is a must have.
“This has every single hand tool the dad needs all in one spot,” says Calmus. “What I like about it is it has both metric and standard, and they're color coded so you don't mix them up.”
Every dad wants a secure home, and the ring doorbell provides just that.
“If you've never had a ring before these things are super slick,” says Calmus. “It's a doorbell, but when you press the button, it rings your phone so that no matter where you are in the world, you can see from your phone who's at your door.”
