Sobner Elyse spent 60 days in intensive care fighting Covid-19 and survived!
His story is a miraculous one, but it’s also a cautionary tale to seek medical attention if you are feeling symptoms.
“I was in a coma,” said Elyse who also asks anyone who has symptoms to get help.
The 59-year-old Miami man fought for his life at Memorial Hospital Miramar. At first Elyse refused to go to the hospital. His niece, a nurse manager at MHM, says his fear to get medical help was born out of cultural beliefs within the Haitian community.
