If you're looking for something new to do, how about a ten mile trail of fun? The Underline starts in Brickell, ends in South Miami, and has something for everyone.
Meg Daily, founder of The Underline, describes it as a linear park and urban trail. There will be tons of recreational opportunities, and places to enjoy time with your family and pets.
The venue is already hosting events with their partners Miami-Dade Animal Services and FOMA. There will also be in-person yoga and meditation classes thanks to Baptist Health South Florida. The park will soon offer basketball camps for kids, and other sports events.
Over the weekend The Underline hosted their monthly Paws on the Underline event. Alex Muñoz, director of animal services, says the event is a great way to get out into the community and expand their services, and save more animals. The Underline provides a great venue for more people to find out what services are offered.
Yolanda Berkowitz, founder and president of FOMA, says the event offers community education and a way to support pet owners and animal lovers. The event happens the first Saturday of every month, and range from adoption events to micro-chipping events.
