Time to recap a tough stretch for The University of Miami Basketball Team.

The Canes had a 5-game winning streak snapped with a loss at home to number two Duke, 95-62, this past weekend.

This game was basically over at the half and it led to the worst loss of the season for the Canes.

"Their (Duke) defensive pressure on us, not only forced turnovers but they're live ball turnovers which led to points off of turnovers, which was killer. I think they've (Duke) got a legitimate shot at winning the national championship," said Canes Head Basketball Coach, Jim Larrañaga.

The U then visited another top 25 team, the Louisville Cardinals. Miami suffered another defeat, 74-58, on Tuesday.

Coach Larrañaga’s boys are now 0-5 this season when trailing at the half.

The Canes will look to snap their 2-game losing streak Sunday at home against the Pittsburgh Panthers.
