The heat won, improving to their NBA best 17-1 home record, despite playing without Jimmy Butler who was ruled out with back soreness.
Sunday’s game marked the first return of Hassan Whiteside since he was traded. He was booed by The Heat faithful every time he touched the ball.
The Heat also announced that Kendrick Nunn won another Eastern Conference Rookie Of The Month Award. He’s the first undrafted player in NBA history to win the award on multiple occasions.
