"Diana Prince" returns in "Wonder Woman 1984"!
Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins debut the trailer at Comic Con Experience in Brazil. The trailer set us in the 1980s where we see the return of Chris Pine's character, "Steve Trevor".
In 2017's "Wonder Woman", he met his demise in a fiery place explosion. Jenkins mentions that Steve's return is vital to the story and it's not a gimmick.
The trailer also reveals the villains of Wonder Woman 1984. "The Mandalorian" star Pedro Pascal seems unrecognizable as businessman Maxwell Lord and Wonder Woman’s most notorious foe, "Cheetah" is played by Kristen Wiig.
