As a former Insurance adjuster I always tell people to think about South Florida’s wet weather and Hurricane season when choosing a style of flooring. I would recommend the South Florida standard tile flooring. It’s long lasting as it holds up to water exposure and therefore worth the cost.
Number 2.
You can also opt for easy, Do-It-Yourself options like Peel-and-Stick Vinyl or Carpet Tile flooring. Those are the easiest DIY options. Laminate Plank flooring involves trickier installation.
Number 3.
The most important thing to prepare, as always, is to measure the floor area you’re working with. Measure once and then measure again to double-check how many square feet of flooring you’ll need. Then buy an extra 20% to 30% to cover waste and to have a little left over for any future repairs.
