22 Publix locations to administer COVID vaccine

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Speaking from a Publix in Ocala on Tuesday, Governor Ron Desantis announced the grocery store chain will begin distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to those 65 and older.

Beginning Jan. 7, Publix's online portal will start allowing appointments to be made. That site can be found by clicking here.

Currently, 100 vaccines per day will be offered at 22 Publix locations in Citrus, Hernando, and Marion Counties.

Appointments and patient forms must be filled out ahead of time using the online portal.
