Florida National Guard soldiers and airmen are working with Memorial Healthcare System, along with state,county and local agencies, to open a drive-thru COVID-19 testing center at CB Smith Park.
The site opened at 9 this morning, and will be open 9am to 5pm on a daily basis.
This testing site is drive-thru only and cannot take pedestrians or bikers, according to the press release. People should use the Flamingo Road entrance of CB Smith Park. Patients can have results within three to four days.
Tests will be provided only to those who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and meet the following criteria; First Responders with valid ID, people aged 65 or older with symptoms, individuals who have traveled internationally to or from an affected area, or immune compromised people with symptoms.
