TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Tuesday, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-166, which extends Florida's State of Emergency for 60 days.

This announcement comes after Gov.DeSantis initially issued Executive Order 20-52 on March 9, declaring a state of emergency for the entire state due to COVID-19.

The move allows the state to continue accessing federal funds to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
