You can still sit and enjoy a meal in your favorite restaurant in Broward county.

Yesterday county mayor Dale Holness announced that restaurants can remain open as long as they limit each table to six people, or 10 if they're from the same household. Indoor dining must close by 10 p.m.

Establishments who violate these orders must close for 24 hours and each subsequent violation will result in a 72 hour closure.

Vacation rentals will be limited to only the people who booked the reservation with no additional guests.

"We know that many of these vacation rentals are being used as party places and the virus is being spread there," Holness said. "Only the people who have signed up to be there ought to be there."

These new measures will go into effect Friday.
