We know many of you have lost your jobs because of the pandemic. Every week, we highlight a company that’s hiring to help you get back on your feet. Today we’re telling you what a multi-practice law firm with 10 locations in Florida, is looking for in employees.

Kelley Kronenberg has been around for 40 years and is continuing to grow across the US.

“It started off as a workers compensation firm but slowly built the portfolio of law practices that we have and we’re currently proud to have over 20 different law practices. So the majority of our work is in insurance defense and workers compensation,” said Barbara Repandis, Chief HR officer at Kelley Kronenberg Law Firm.

The firm serves all types of public and private companies, including small businesses and individuals nationwide. With nearly 400 employees, Kelley Kronenberg is looking to expand all of their in-house practice areas and administrative teams.

“We currently have around 20 open positions. They include attorney positions with a wide range from entry level associates up until experienced partners or business unit leaders. We are looking for attorneys throughout the state of Florida and we also have positions in support roles such as legal assistance, paralegals [and] certain positions within our accounting department,” added Barbara.

“I got here and everything that was promised to me is true during the interview process,” said Raymond Lowe, recent hire.

It’s been almost two weeks since Raymond started as the Chief Information Officer at Kelley Kronenberg and he says he already feels at home. In his previous job, he says COVID cut his salary by five percent. Not a reason why he left that company, but he says he’s happy he took on this new opportunity.

“The team here is phenomenal, everybody is excited. I credit the shareholders, Michael, for permeating that culture from the top down and Barbara in our HR department for keeping that centric to all of the employees in terms of the culture here, we’re a team, we’re committed and we’re strong", said Raymond.

Raymond offers some advice for candidates that get called for the first round of virtual interviews.

“One is for sure just be yourself. We’re trying to bring people in that can be honest and open with everybody. Just try to be as personable as possible,” added Raymond.
