Lakeside Animal Hospital in Plantation is hiring.
“We take pride in the medicine we provide our pets and the service we provide our clients,” said Laurie.
The clinic, recently acquired by the Frione family, has been around for 25 years. Laurie Berger, practice manager, has been there for 16 years. She says the place feels like family.
“This is my home and this business is not just a job for me, it’s personal, “ said Laurie.
Laurie says Dr. Jennifer Frione and the entire team are committed to practicing big medicine in a family hospital environment. And they only look for employees who are passionate about their jobs and of course, animals.
“We have positions available as a client service coordinator, animal care tenants, which really spend a lot of time with the animals, and veterinary technicians,” said Laurie.
“I take care of the basic needs for the animals without the medical aspects. I feed, I walk, I clean, I make sure I check on them multiple times a day and walk them multiple times a day,” said Zachary.
Zachary Rapp is one of the few recent hires working as a kennel team member. But has hopes to move up the ladder when an opportunity arises.
“I’m always trying to learn and observe what everybody is doing so eventually if there comes a day that I can progress and move up I’d more than love to do that,” added Zachary.
