Kirk Gimenez visited The Ritz-Carlton Cliff Drysdale Tennis Garden and learned about a new game called "padel."
The sport combines elements of tennis, squash, racquetball, and platform tennis into one unique fast-moving game huge in Europe and South America.
"Miami is important because we are introducing padel to the United States. The Ritz-Carlton is the first luxury resort that has tennis and padel in the United States," said Max Mangones, tennis director at The Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne.
