The University of Miami Hurricanes football team is going bowling, despite ending the season with two consecutive losses.
The Canes will be playing Louisiana Tech in the Walk-On's Independence Bowl on December 26th at 4pm at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA.
The Canes have a 4-0 all-time record against Lousiana Tech.
UM ended the regular season (6-6) with back-to-back losses to FIU and Duke, a bitter end to the first season under head coach, Manny Diaz.
"We have to change the way that we are playing, I know that, now there's a lot of things that go into how that happens. But, as you get through the year you step back and you look at the entire of the year and you look at all the factors that go into that. I think that's anytime that you evaluate a staff, anytime you evaluate anything in the program," said Diaz.
