DiscountMugs.com is a local company in Medley, one of the biggest promotional companies in America, and they recently donated 11,000 masks to elderly in need.
Our Kirk Gimenez spoke with President and CEO Sai Koppaka about how their business had to pivot due to COVID-19 and that is what led to their much-needed donation. Koppaka states they only recently started selling masks and Coronavirus-related safety equipment and will continue to do so while the need continues, but their main business is printing company logos on all sorts of merchandise: pens, hats, shirts, etc. DiscountMugs.com employees are made up of approximately 1,000 South Floridians, some of which had to be furloughed during the pandemic.
