Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Talks Plans for Virtual High School Graduation

Superintendent Alberto Carvalho posted a video on his Facebook page announcing the planning of a virtual graduation celebrations for the 2020 high school class.

Members of the graduating class offered the ideas for a virtual recognition of every single student in the county, and also a final gathering of the class once restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted.

The Miami-Dade County Public School's superintendent explained that he has had multiple virtual meetings with graduating seniors from every school in the county in order to decide what would best meet their needs.

Carvalho promised both of these would be done for the senior class, and that they are already being planned.
